Unlike my urban dioramas, in this piece I decided to focus on a human figure—a story that makes us uncomfortable and forces us to look deeper.


I sculpted this figure in polymer clay, carefully crafting every detail of the expression, posture, and especially the clothing. I wanted it to feel real, yet symbolic. The character’s gaze says a lot: they have been through a lot, but are not defeated.

The most important element for me is the sign hanging from their chest: “ONCE I WAS LIKE YOU.” That phrase changes everything. I wanted to create something that is not only admired for its technique but also provokes a pause, a question.
