This piece is a miniature reinterpretation of a typical manhole cover found in Mexico City, framed as if it were a fragment rescued from the urban landscape. The work invites the viewer to look differently at what usually goes unnoticed beneath our feet — the functional elements of city infrastructure that, over time, gain a patina of history, wear, and character.
